Born and raised in Iowa, Karrie is a country girl at heart with a strong business mindset. A proud graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, she holds both a BA and an MBA in Business, with a focus on accounting, finance, and business administration. Her professional journey includes experience with Fortune 500 corporations as well as small start-up ventures, spanning a diverse range of industries such as restaurants, healthcare, tech/software, retail, automotive, financial services, banking, real estate, and insurance.
Karrie brings several years of experience in residential real estate sales and investing, driven by a passion for helping people achieve their dreams of homeownership. Known for her expertise in guiding individuals through one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives, she specializes in estate transition services and assisting seniors with financial management and living arrangements.
With a true servant's heart, she has always enjoyed helping others. Through her interactions with people from all walks of life and at various life stages, she recognized a growing need in the community—leading to the creation of Helping Hands Personal Concierge Services. This business was founded to support seniors aging in place, busy professionals, and families who need assistance in managing their daily lives.
Helping Hands offers services ranging from home organization and decluttering to errand running, in-home care, lifestyle management, and companionship. Committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients, the team provides compassionate and dependable support. With a wide network of trusted partners, they’re also able to refer clients to additional services when needed—because if they can’t do it, they know someone who can.
